Who am I?

My journey in massage and bodywork started in the early 1990's when I was introduced to a community of Esalen healers in San Luis Obispo, CA.  Their focus on holistic healing including healthy foods, healthy thoughts, and healthy bodies resonated with me as I learned and grew.

In 2002 I moved to San Diego, CA and started attending the Body Mind College, taking classes and learning basics as well as energetic healing techniques such as: Intention, Connection and Trauma Release.

After I was laid off from my engineering job, I took some time to hike around Mt. Shasta, Mt. Lassen, and the northern California coast.  This time off reinforced my awareness of a growing passion for bodywork and healing.

In 2012 I enrolled in the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA as a full time student studying Asian bodywork.  The yearlong course of study refreshed my knowledge and introduced more depth in areas such as Tui Na, 5-Element theory, Meridians and Points, and Eastern Deep Tissue.

I now reside in Newport Beach, CA where I work part time at a spa and wellness center in Tustin, CA, and travel throughout Orange and San Diego counties practicing bodywork and fueling my increasing passion for healing the world… One body-part at a time…
